BREAKING: Disney is Postponing the Grand Reveal of Newest Ship the Disney Treasure
Those hoping to get a sneak peek of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship the Disney Treasure are going to need to wait a little bit longer. Disney announced today that they would be pushing back the ship’s big debut due to Hurricane Idalia and the impact it is having on Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World as it makes its way up the Gulf.

As you can see from the image above, the big Disney Treasure reveal was initially supposed to take place tomorrow (August 30th at 10am) but this has now been moved to September 5 at 11am. This scheduling change is due to Hurricane Idalia which will bring harsh weather to Florida today and Wednesday.

During the official Disney Treasure launch event now happening on Tuesday, September 5th, fans will be treated to a grand virtual reveal of the new ship as part of the “Unlocking the Disney Treasure: Adventure Awaits Onboard Disney’s Newest Ship” media event.
The video will show never-before-released details of the Disney Treasure including world-class dining, family entertainment, and whimsically wonderful spaces unique to the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
