30+ Easter Eggs Hint at What’s to Come on the Disney Treasure
We’re all anticipating a virtual tour of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship next week… but clues keep popping up that may reveal what’s to come. These 30+ Easter Eggs hint at what’s to come on the Disney Treasure. Scroll down for a close up of each Easter Egg we spotted from the map below.
1. Captain Mickey
First up, Mickey seems to be at the helm of the Disney Treasure.
2. Explorer Minnie
Minnie looks like she’s in Explorer Mode here. With the volcano in the background, ship’s anchor, and (possible) telescope, Minnie is ready for adventure!
3. Donald in Vacation Mode
Donald is living his best life… this is what I call vacation mode, a drink and a floatie.
4. Pluto + Castaway Cay!
Pluto is right next to a banner reading Castaway Cay. There’s also a porthole, but not sure what might be in it! What do you think?
5. Attraction at Sea
This first close up shows a ship–likely a mini Treasure–with a water slide. Like on the Disney Wish, we expect this water slide to be an attraction at sea like the AquaMouse, not a simple slide…
6. Incredibles
A mountain… but with one of Syndrome’s Robots from the Incredibles.
7. Maui’s Hook
Maui’s Hook takes the shape of an island on this Disney Treasure Map.
8. Marvel’s Captin America & Ant-Man
Could we see another World’s of Marvel Restaurant on the Disney Treasure? One device from Pym Technologies is stuck in the sand!
9. Olaf in Arendelle
10. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia
11. Beauty & the Beast
12. Paradise Falls from Up
13. The Fab Five — New Dining Locations?
Disney, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Minnie appear to be featured in new dining locations aboard the Disney Treasure.
14.DuckTales?
Could we possibly see DuckTales aboard the Treasure
15. Goody’s Pool?
16. Jungle or River Themed Areas?
17. Mulan’s Family Temple
18. 20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
19. Rex & Trixie Kid’s Splash Pad
20. Aladdin, Jasmine, and Agrabah
Central to the Disney Treasure’s theme are Aladdin, Jasmine, and Agrabah, so it’s natural we’d see Jasmine’s Palace central to this Treasure Map. Fireworks for fireworks at sea? I think so!
21. What in the world is Spaceship Earth from EPCOT doing in this Map?!?!!
Yes, the ship will likely sail from Port Canaveral/Orlando, but this icon could also mean the return of the Imagineering Club on this ship!
22. Moana’s Village & Hei Hei!
23. The Jungle Book + Bagheera
24. Star Wars Landing Pad and an X-Wing Fighter!
25. Simba, Nala, Timone, & Pumba
26. The Cave of Wonders
27. Miguel’s Hometown from Coco
28. Village outside of Arendelle?
Those little penguins… I’m gonna keep ’em! What could this little village near Olaf mean? North Atlantic voyages for the Treasure?
29. Mystery Lagoon
This lagoon is a mystery to me… the only thing I can think of is Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa… maybe the Treasure will venture to the Pacific too.
30. Rapunzel’s Tower!
This could mean Tangled Salon will appear among the various amenities aboard the Disney Treasure. We sure hope so!
31. Random Tea Pot?
I feel like I know this teapot (at the top of the image below) from somewhere… but where and what it could mean are escaping me. What do you think?
