First Sign of Parking Trams Returning Soon to EPCOT
Many Disney World fans know the pain that is trekking back to your car in the parking lot after a long day in the parks.
If you happen to park what feels like miles from the entrance to a Disney Park, something that can make your life easier is parking trams. These trams can transport guests from distant parking spots to the front gates of the park within minutes, and they can be especially helpful at the end of the day.
All of this is to say that although parking trams have returned to Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, they have yet to resume service in the parking lots at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Recently, however, Disney made a special announcement, and we just saw something exciting in EPCOT!
Parking Trams Spotted in EPCOT
Back in January, we noticed new signs popping up around EPCOT’s parking lot advertising parking tram boarding areas, so we were hopeful trams would return soon. Thankfully, we don’t have much longer to wait!
Just a few days ago, Disney announced that parking trams would return to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios beginning this September, and it looks like trams have already started arriving in EPCOT.
Earlier this morning, we spotted parking trams parked in the Gamora section of the parking lot.
Note that the trams are NOT running yet, but it’s exciting to see them back on EPCOT parking lot property!
Disney hasn’t shared exactly when trams will resume service in September, but we’ll be in the parks keeping our eyes peeled for more updates.
