JUST IN: The Grand Floridian Christmas Tree is OFFICIALLY UP!
With the Christmas renovations growing by the day at one of our favorite Disney resorts, we can now confirm that The Grand Floridian Christmas Tree is officially up!
We covered the extent of the overnight construction of the tree, but we finally have our first look at the beautiful centerpiece in all of its Holiday Glory!
The magnificent display is front and center of the famed resort, bringing an endless amount of holiday cheer to the lobby!
The massive scale, seemingly endless lights, and traditional Christmas ornaments make the Grand Floridian Christmas tree a pretty indescribable spectacle!
The tree is truly massive, with a second-level view truly giving a sense to just how Grand (see what I did there?) the tree is.
There is also a great view of how the tree stands next to The Grand Floridians recently finished Gingerbread House, whose Sweet Treats are delightful!
There was such attention to detail when the tree was being put up, it is clearly seen in the finished product.
With the over 40-foot tree sporting a beautiful holiday ornament on every inch, Santas Elves truly had a monumental task on their hands.
Although the tree is absolutely the centerpiece of the Grand Floridians Christmas decorations, we did also get to see that the holiday cheer didn’t end there.
The stair railings are lined with garland that is just as exquisite as the tree itself and provides a really great Christmas addition.
The garland continues on throughout the entirety of the stairs, continuing the theme of attention to detail.
It seems that the lighting and ornaments chosen for the tree continue on within the garland, giving the entire Resort a true holiday experience.
A closer look at the garland-lined stair railing can give us some insight into the detail and specifics of the holiday addition.
Continuing on the same theme as the tree and other decorations, the lights, and ornaments are beautifully displayed within the garland.
The massive tree and garland aren’t where the Christmas experience ends at the Grand Floridan, as we also have this close-up of the wreaths featured!
The similar floral motif with the same kinds of ornaments as the tree and garland continue to add to the holiday experience awaiting those visiting the resort.
The attention to detail continued behind the receptionist stations, as Santas elves brightened up that space with some holiday decorations of their own.
The pieces sit on alternating columns, and add a small dash of Christmas spirit; once again, leaving no stone unturned, or wreath unhung!
One of the cooler additions to the Christmas decorations is these smaller Christmas trees located through the resort.
The trees feature some of the same ornaments as the 40-foot center lobby tree, but on a much smaller scale for guests to enjoy.
The same design as the other two smaller Christmas trees on the ground floor, two more can be seen again on the second level of the resort.
The smaller trees seem to accentuate the space, and provide a neverending Christmas experience for guests, no matter where in the resort they are.
Just like that, the Grand Floridian Christmas Tree s officially up; and it is beautiful!
