Liberty Square Riverboat to Close Soon in Magic Kingdom
No matter how much you plan for a Disney World trip, some things are just out of your control. The weather can throw a wrench in your plans, rides can shut down unexpectedly, or the crowds could be worse than you anticipated.
We try to tell you about any upcoming closures as soon as possible so that you can plan ahead! And, there’s a new closure you should know about.
Liberty Square Riverboat Closure
The Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed soon in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Right now it looks like the boat will not be running starting on August 21st.

Then, there are operating times starting again on August 30th. So, the boat will be closed from August 21st — 29th right now.

Disney has not announced the reason for the short closure, but if we had to guess it would be for some kind of short refurbishment.
