Frozen Ever After Currently Closed in Disney World
UPDATE: Frozen Ever After has reopened at EPCOT!
No matter how much planning you do for a Disney World trip, some things are simply out of your control. The weather can change, rides can break down, and even other guests can cause some interruptions for you.
These things are why you have to remain flexible and open-minded when you’re inside the parks! If you don’t have strict expectations, then it will be harder for you to be disappointed.
That mindset can come in handy, especially on days like today, when a popular ride is closed in Disney World!
Frozen Ever After Closed
Frozen Ever After is currently closed in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion. We got this message on My Disney Experience when in the park this morning.
Disney says it’s working hard to get the attraction back up and running, so it could be open again at some point today. For now, it remains closed.
We recommend continuing to check your My Disney Experience app to see if the ride opens back up! If it does, it will show a wait time on the map instead of a star, which means it’s closed.
This ride is very popular in EPCOT, often having one of the highest wait times in the park. This means that it also occupies a large number of people that would otherwise be walking around the park or in other ride lines.
So, Frozen being closed naturally means that other wait times in the park are probably higher than they would be if the ride were open. Also note that at the time of writing, Test Track is also closed, which usually has a long line as well.
If these rides open up, hopefully, it will lower the wait times of other rides a bit. We will keep an eye out to see if the ride reopens and let you know!
