Our MickeyBlogger was at the Magic Kingdom this afternoon and noticed that a popular pressed penny machine has made a return to Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. The pressed penny machine usually found near the exit queue at Splash Mountain has finally made its return
Though Splash Mountain is currently closed to the public as it is reimagined as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the phone, restroom, and drinking fountain area in Frontierland remains open. Here you’ll find the pressed penny machine.
Pressed penny collectors will definitely want to pop by this location to add to your location.
As you can see from the signage, the Splash Mountain machine features three different pressed penny options. This includes an image of Mickey and Goofy, one featuring Chip ‘n’ Dale and a Minnie Mouse coin. Guests can purchase 1 souvenir coin for $1 or get all three for $3. Also, gone are the days of having to bring rolled coins to the pressed penny machines, they have been updated to take cards!
