It’s true! Walt Disney World offers these private photo sessions at all four parks.

They call these sessions Capture Your Moment.
Capture your moment
For just $79, you can have a 20-minute photo session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer.

Up to eight people can be part of your photo session.
If you have more than eight people, book back-to-back sessions.

Or, book back-to-back sessions if you want to capture more shots at different locations.
Private photo session locations
At the Magic Kingdom, you can capture your special moment in front of Cinderella Castle.
If your session is at Animal Kingdom, expect to have the Tree of Life as a backdrop.

Spaceship Earth or a location in World Showcase might be featured in Capture Your Moment sessions at EPCOT.
Hollywood Studios has multiple locations to choose from, including Hollywood Boulevard and Echo Lake.

But you can’t get a private photo session in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Celebrate special occasions
When you meet with your Disney PhotoPass photographer, they will ask you if you’re celebrating anything special.

In December, I had a Capture Your Moment private photo session at the Magic Kingdom with my family.
We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, my son’s graduation from eighth grade and my daughter’s graduation from fifth grade.

Plus, we wanted family photos to use for our Christmas card.
Many guests capture new babies, anniversaries, engagements and family reunions.

Book your private photo session
Private photo sessions are booked 60 days in advance, when you’re logged into MyDisneyExperience on the Disney World website or app.
Your MickeyTravels agent can book these private photo sessions for you.
It’s good to be flexible on time and location for your private photo session.
This is a popular experience at Walt Disney World, and can get booked up quickly.

Know before you go
It’s best to arrive at least 10 minutes before your private photo session.
Capture Your Moment is only offered during regular park hours.

Tipping is not required, but these photographers work really hard – so feel free to tip if you’d like to!
My experience
When I did the Capture Your Moment private photo session in December, I had a great time.

My photographer was terrific, directing us where to go, how to stand and how to hold our heads for the light.
We had a photographer assistant as well, who helped to keep other guests out of our shots.

A fellow MickeyTravels agent had a party of 11, so they booked back-to-back sessions and had three photographers.
Memory Maker
You can get dozens or even more than 100 photos out of these sessions.

With Memory Maker, you get ALL of the photos from your private photo session into your photo library on My Disney Experience.
