This ‘Star Wars’ Black Spire Outpost Pin Is Out of This World
One of the coolest things about visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is that you are actually entering a location within the Star Wars universe.
Instead of creating a land that was an amalgamation of Star Wars experiences, Galaxy’s Edge is set in the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu.
That means, when you visit the land, you are not only walking through the same settlement that Anakin Skywalker, Admiral Thrawn, Chewbacca, and Rey visited, but you can also visit establishments owned by Oga Garra and Hondo Ohnaka.
Understanding Batuu’s place within the Star Wars universe makes visiting that much more exciting.
Black Spire Outpost Pin
If you are a Star Wars fan and are interested in the lore of the Black Spire Outpost, then you have to see the new pin that Disney has released.
The front of the pin features an emblem represented by the Black Spire Outpost, with alien script. The whole pin is gold, and looks almost like a medallion.
While this looks cool in and of itself, there’s more.
When you open the pin up, the inside of the cover features the more familiar Black Spire Outpost logo.
On the opposite side of the pin, there are four logos representing the four kinds of lightsabers that you can make at Savi’s Workshop. The logos represent — Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, and Protection and Defense.
Interestingly, these logos are in full color and not just gold! All-in-all this is an amazing Batuu pin!
