NEW Look at ‘World of Frozen’ Coming to Hong Kong Disneyland!
Ever since Disney released Frozen back in 2013, we have seen an explosion of everything related to Arendelle! There have been small things like merchandise and sweet treats, and big things like full theme park rides and shows.
And, the popularity isn’t exclusive to the United States — the international Disney parks love Anna and Elsa, too! There’s even a Frozen-themed land being built over in Hong Kong Disneyland, and we’ve got another look at how it’s coming along.
World of Frozen
The Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Michael E. Moriarty, just shared a new look at World of Frozen. In an Instagram post, he showed more of the new land!
He said that the world’s first and largest Frozen-themed land will soon be launched after seven years of hard work! You can see in the photos how the land is coming along.
Moriarty also gave kudos to the Imagineers and Cast Members that have been creating the land. He said, “It truly demonstrates how creativity and innovation is the cornerstone of all we do at Disney as we deliver our unique brand of exceptional storytelling and experiences that touches people’s hearts, ignites their imaginations, and creates memories that live on from one generation to the next.”
The World of Frozen will open this November at Hong Kong Disneyland. The backstory of the land is that you’ve been invited to a Summer Snow Day celebration in honor of the day when Anna saved Elsa with an act of true love.
The land will feature attractions like Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. There will also be spots like Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles (a shop), Northern Delights (a sweet shop), and Playhouse in the Woods (an interactive play experience).
