PREVIEW: Disney Gives a Closer Look at World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that the World of Frozen, an entire neighborhood dedicated to Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and the rest of the gang will be opening at Hong Kong Disneyland this November. The backstory of the new area is that you’re invited to a Summer Snow Day celebration commemorating the day that Anna saved Elsa with an act of true love.
Disney has just revealed some new concept artwork for the two themed attractions as well as dining and shopping experiences coming to World of Frozen. Let’s take a look:
Frozen Ever After
Get ready to embark on a journey to the North Mountain where you’ll find Elsa’s Ice Palace to kick off Arendelle’s Summer Snow Day Celebration. As you depart from the harbor you’ll meet Olaf and Sven in a stunning snowy landscape under an ice crystal tree created by Elsa!
Disney also shared a look at the final scene. At the end of your journey on Frozen Ever After Anna, Elsa and Olaf will be waiting to welcome you back from your North Mountain visit.
Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs
Get ready for the first Frozen-themed coaster EVER! Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs was built by Wandering Oaken! With some help from Olaf and Sven get ready as your sled is pulled to the top of the lift hill and adventure awaits!
The queue for the attraction will feature some fun details including Oaken in his Sauna.
One of the columns you find as you move along the queue also features a carving of a troll created by Oaken!
Golden Crocus Inn
After all this adventuring, you’re sure to work up an appetite. Head to the Golden Crocus in which gets its name from the national symbol of Arendelle. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends and famiy and enjoy a menu featuring delicious and diverse cuisine!
Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles
Tick Tock Toys is a charming top shop located in the village of Arendelle. It is run by a wood carver and his way and is the perfect place to find Frozen-themed toys, keepsakes and collectibles.
Northern Delights
Also in Arendelle is this one-of-a-kind sweet shop featuring a mouthwatering array of candy and frozen treats. The eatery gets its name from Arendelle’s famous Northern Lights!
Playhouse in the Woods
In the middle of the woods lies Anna and Elsa’s childhood Playhouse which has been opened to the public for Summer Snow Day! Get ready for a unique, interactive play experience within the playhouse!
