Latest EPCOT Construction Shows New Structures Forming
EPCOT has been undergoing a big transformation over the past few years! There are new attractions, restaurants, stores, and more.
We’ve been keeping an eye on the construction so we can give you important updates, and it’s time for another one!
EPCOT Construction
Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana
Journey of Water has been making a ton of progress over in the World Nature neighborhood. There are a bunch of plants around the attraction!
But today, we saw that across the pathway from what looks to be the entrance of the attraction, there are some new additions.
There looks to be some rock structures forming!
We’re not sure what they’re for yet, but I’d assume they’re separate from the attraction. Maybe it will just be a seating area!
But, it definitely seems like it will fit in with the nature theming.
We’ll just have to wait and see!
CommuniCore Hall & Plaza
Over in World Celebration, there is more work being done on the areas that will be CommuniCore Hall and Plaza.
The yellow building is sure to be the Hall, where there will be things like a character meet and greet area with Mickey & Friends.
There are also the structures that will probably be around the Plaza.
We noticed the giant pylons a while back, and work is still being done on them!
We can’t wait to see more of this area being completed!
EPCOT Parking Lot
Do note that the EPCOT parking lot is still under construction.
There is work being done and it still looks like there’s a long way to go!
The ground is still just dirt.
