Just You Wait…Hamilton Sing-Along Coming to Disney Plus TOMORROW!
In celebration of the 4th of July Weekend, Disney just shared an announcement that will definitely have you warming up those vocal cords! Disney Plus will release a new sing-along version of the beloved Broadway musical Hamilton on Friday, June 30th.

Hamilton played a pivotal role in the launch of Disney+ which made its streaming debut on July 3, 2020. The Hamilton video was filmed at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June 2016. Taking center stage is Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renee Elise Goldsberry as Ange3lic Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr as Aaron Burr; Tony Award nominees Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jonathan Groff as King George; Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton; and Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison; and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. The cast also includes Carleigh Bettiol, Ariana DeBose, Hope Easterbrook, Sydney James Harcourt, Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Elizabeth Judd, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Seth Stewart, and Ephraim Sykes.

Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the book, music, and lyrics for the production which tells the story of Secretary Alexander Hamilton, the First Secretary of the Treasure in the US. Hamilton became an international sensation and won 11 Tony Awards (including Thomas Kail for Best Direction and Andy Blankenbuehler for Best Choreography) it is one of the most popular musicals ever to play on Broadway.
