The Force is Strong In This Luke Skywalker Figure
As someone who grew up with the Star Wars prequel trilogy and then was swept away by the Star Wars stories told in the last twenty years, it is easy to forget how important Luke Skywalker was.
When following the story of the Clone Wars, we see the Jedi at the height of their power, when thousands of warriors wielded lightsabers and set off into battle. The stories of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and even Ezra Bridger are fleshed out. We see the characters rise in power and become full-fledged Jedi.
When it comes to Luke Skywalker, however, the Jedi’s power is largely left to our imagination. While Luke manages to turn Vader back to the Light in the original trilogy, we never see him battle in the same way that we do Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, or Anakin.
In the sequel trilogy, we see a largely washed-up Luke. That version of the character is a man who has lost faith and sealed himself off from the Force. In Star Wars, we are often told how important and powerful Luke is, but we are rarely shown it.
This dichotomy is what made Luke’s appearance in The Mandalorian so important. We finally got to see the Jedi Master at the height of his power. This Luke Skywalker is worthy of the praise heaped upon him.

Well, if you are a Star Wars fan, especially one who appreciates Luke Skywalker, I have great news.
A new Luke figurine has arrived at Walt Disney World, and it really showcases the young Skywalker at the height of his power.
Luke stands braced for battle in this new figure, wielding his lightsaber.
I love the design of Luke here, his face is shrouded by a hood, but you can still clearly see the Jedi’s determined look.
At the base of the figure, a dark trooper helmet can be found. Fans of The Mandalorian will remember Luke’s amazing battle with the troopers as he rescued Grogu.
All in all, this is a great figure for one of Star Wars’ most important characters.
