BREAKING: 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Popcorn Buckets Released EARLY

If you’re looking for some tasty food and gorgeous topiaries, you can still catch the Flower & Garden Festival in EPCOT until July 5th. After that, we’re looking forward to the Food & Wine Festival, but it doesn’t begin until July 27th — so imagine our surprise finding a certain Food & Wine souvenir for sale at EPCOT today!

At the popcorn cart in Canada in EPCOT, we noticed they had picnic basket popcorn buckets for sale, which was a little odd because we’ve only seen those popcorn buckets for sale in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But then we noticed something different about this bucket — do you see it?

For context, here are the picnic basket buckets we’ve seen in Disneyland and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

But these new buckets have a blue blanket, and a different lanyard too. We decided to investigate.

A closer look revealed that this is actually a 2023 Food & Wine Festival popcorn bucket, complete with a lanyard displaying the festival logo along with Chef Mickey.

It’s just like the other picnic basket bucket, except for the blue blanket and the Food & Wine lanyard.

It even has the two cute ants that the other basket has.

It also has the 2023 Food & Wine Festival logo along with Chef Mickey and Chef Minnie printed on the cover of the picnic basket.

We got it for $25 from the popcorn cart in Canada, but we aren’t sure if these buckets will stay out considering the Food & Wine Festival doesn’t begin until July 27th.

Upon further investigation, we spotted these buckets for sale at other popcorn carts around EPCOT, so maybe this was planned?? Still, it’s a little odd considering the Flower & Garden Festival is still happening, and Food & Wine doesn’t begin for another month.
