New Genie+ Pricing Structure Now Official in Disney World
If you want to skip the lines in Disney World, you have to pay for it now.
Unlike the free FastPass+ system of yore, the new Genie+ system costs guests somewhere between $15 to $35 per person, per day (depending on the day) for access to much faster Lightning Lanes.
Up until now, however, everyone had to pay one rate (per person, per day), regardless of what park they’d be visiting or whether they plan on Park Hopping. But now — a new pricing structure is available!
New Genie+ Pricing
New Genie+ variable park pricing is now in effect! There are now five different options to choose from, including a different rate per park, and a “Multiple Parks” option.
For June 27th, the pricing is as follows in the My Disney Experience app:
- Multiple Parks: $27
- Magic Kingdom: $27
- EPCOT: $18
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $24
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $16
The Multiple Parks option is essentially the same offer that we’ve had since the Genie+ system originated, and it’s specifically meant for people who have Park Hopper tickets or Annual Passes.
If you plan on visiting only one park for the day, however, it may be cheaper to purchase Genie+ for just that park.
Prices will still vary per day, with higher prices in effect on peak visiting days or holidays, for example, and you must still purchase Genie+ daily beginning at midnight on the date of your visit.
You cannot make Lightning Lane reservations until 7AM daily. Thankfully, all of this can be done within the My Disney Experience app!
We’ll be watching closely for any more Genie+ changes, so keep following MickeyBlog for more Disney World news!
