The Voice of Coco’s Miguel, Anthony Gonzalez, Gives Surprise Performance at EPCOT
Visitors to EPCOT last week got a very special surprise, Anthony Gonzalez, who voiced the role of Miguel in Pixar’s Coco performed along with Mariachi Cobre at EPCOT.
Though Anthony has grown up quite a bit since Coco first came out in 2017, one thing that hasn’t changed is his love of singing. This was evident for those that saw him perform renditions of some of the biggest songs from the film including “Un Poco Loco,” “Remember Me” and “The World es Mi Familia.”
When he was wowing the EPCOT crowds, Anthony took time to enjoy the sights and sounds of The Worlds Most Magical Celebration. A highlight was definitely seeing Coco featured in both new nighttime spectaculars Harmonious at EPCOT and Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom.
He also had time to pose next to the Miguel Fab 50 statue which sits right along the statue of his canine companion Dante.
His visit also gave Anthony and his family a change to enjoy Hispanic Latinx Month including Walt Disney World’s celebration of “Together We Are Magia.”
Running until October 15th, there’s still a chance to enjoy special food and beverage, entertainment and merchandise to celebrate Hispanic Latinx culture.
Check out the video below of Anthony celebrating his Disney World getaway culminating in his performance with Mariachi Cobre.
