What is Happening With EPCOT’s World Showcase Lagoon??
Disney World is almost constantly changing. There are changes as big as complete ride makeovers and as small as a model train being altered.
Today, we noticed a pretty interesting change happening in EPCOT!
World Showcase Lagoon
When visiting EPCOT today, we noticed that equipment is being added into the World Showcase Lagoon.
We JUST got rid of those giant barges for Harmonious in the lagoon, so it’s interesting that there’s already other equipment being put here.
So much for thinking we would have an unobstructed view across the lagoon!
This could be for the upcoming nighttime spectacular EPCOT will be putting on for the 100th Anniversary. That show isn’t supposed to debut until later this year.
But, the equipment is possibly being put in right now so that they can run tests and get the show to look perfect before it debuts.
Right now, the nighttime spectacular in the park is EPCOT Forever. This replaced Harmonious when it ended earlier this year.
There were some pretty heavy-duty things being added to the lagoon!
Could these possibly be for shooting off fireworks? We’ll have to wait and see!
