All good things must come to an end, right? That’s certainly the case for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations!

The 50th has been going on since October of 2021, and as the end of March is here, the festivities are drawing to a close. It’s been an awesome celebration with tons of food, entertainment, decorations, and more.

But, the 50th Anniversary can’t last forever — especially since we’ve already technically passed the 51st Anniversary and the 52nd one is happening this fall!

So, things are ending. And, one of those things is the special nighttime spectacular that’s been happening in EPCOT since 2021!
The Last Night of Harmonious
Harmonious is officially ending tonight in EPCOT at Disney World. The show has been running since the end of September 2021 in honor of the 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The last showing was tonight, April 2nd, and then it’s GONE! We’re sure there are a bunch of mixed emotions out there since some people loved the new show while others did not.
Lots of people were there!
One of the biggest controversies of Harmonious was the large barges that took up residence in the World Showcase Lagoon.

Harmonious is one of the largest shows ever created for a Disney theme park and features a medley of classic Disney music recorded by different artists. Throughout the show, you can see some awesome visuals from your favorite Disney movies!

A culturally diverse group of 240 artists from around the world came together to help create the music and visuals for the show. There are even major sections of classic Disney songs sung in different languages!

Harmonious has floating giant screens, choreographed fountains, colorful lights, pyrotechnics, and lasers that create a 360-degree view of the show around the World Showcase.

You also will recognize scenes and music from The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, Moana, Coco, The Lion King, Mulan, Brave, and more.

But, there is a bit of a silver lining because the giant barges in the middle of the World Showcase Lagoon will be REMOVED with the show’s ending. Yep, no more eye sore, people!

And, don’t worry, there will still be a fireworks show in EPCOT every night! EPCOT Forever is making a return to the World Showcase Lagoon tomorrow night, April 3rd.
