This Mickey and Friends Shirt Looks Like It Came Straight From 1996
At Walt Disney World, what’s old is new again, and the 90s are finally back in style.
I personally have been waiting 24 years for this moment, and couldn’t be more excited. From “A Goofy Movie” featuring prominently in merchandise, to the Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers making appearances, it is truly a great time to be a child of the 90s.
One of the easiest ways to see just how back the 90s are, is to look at the new merchandise that Disney has released. Bucket hats and fanny packs abound, and there have even been new releases remembering Walt DIsney World’s 25th anniversary!
My favorite new releases however, have been the apparel that looks like it came straight from 1995.

Today when visiting the World of Disney for example, we cam upon a new Mickey and friends shirt that is a true blast from the past.

This new Mickey and friends shirt may have actually been for sale during the 90s.
The shirt features Pluto, Mickey, Daisy, Donald, Minnie and Goofy, each inside their own box- Brady Bunch style if you will.
Below the Sensational Six, the shirt features the simplistic Walt Disney World logo that was used by the resort for decades.
Somewhere in her closet, my mother definitely has a sweatshirt with this exact design!
My favorite part of the shirt, however, is the retro look of the character. There isn’t really anything stylized or “modern” about them. Just classic character design.
