Progress Continues on Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread House
I started the morning off by showing you some pictures of the incredible gingerbread house being constructed in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
It looks like the team has been hard at work all day as quite a lot of progress has been made since this morning.
As you can see, most of the shingles on the roof have already been laid.
WE love looking at the busy team of chef’s hard at work!
New since this morning are holiday garlands and other ornaments like Santa!
Some team members were even on a crane to get to the upper rooftops of this stunning culinary creation.
The details that go into this each year are nothing short of amazing.
Just look at those incredible roof tiles so neatly construction and they are real gingerbread.
We love all of the lattice and trim going into this creation.
Here’s a look at one of the finished sides of the gingerbread creation.
This side gives us a clear picture of the storefront which sells delicious gingerbread goodies each year.
If you look to the left, you can see the racks of gingerbread waiting to be put into place.
We’ll be tracking the progress of the Victorian gingerbread house throughout the week.
