This epic ride has only been open for about two months. It officially debuted on April 4, 2023, after a soft opening.

The excitement builds the moment you step into its Tomorrowland location. As you watch the coaster twist and turn, the iconic soundtrack beckons you in!

Today, Disney journalist Scott Gustin reported on a new trailer for the ride. Let’s break down the video celebrating TRON Lightcycle / Run!
NEW Trailer
It opens with lasers and lights flashing within The Grid, as a musical soundtrack plays in the background. The Castle is all aglow with a TRON-inspired theme!
Then, we get a peek at the Lightcycle. When you enter the ride’s queue, you’re taken to a room that appears to be enclosed at first.

Eventually, the projections come down, revealing TRON’s launch through the glass. If your heart wasn’t already beating fast, it undoubtedly will at this point!
The video shows up close portions of the vibrant, blue queue and the ride vehicles. Then, it’s off you go!

Disney teases the ride saying, “Picture this. You climb into your Lightcycle. You lean forward. Ready, set…You launch face first into the Grid. Speeding through energy gates that only make you faster.”
“You need to go faster because as you power past bright lights, a team of rival racers is on your tail. Prepare to win.”

The music climaxes to an even more exciting level, as we’re treated to some epic shots of the ride! It concludes with “Tron Lightcycle / Run now open Walt Disney World.”
I just returned from Magic Kingdom but this new trailer makes me want to go back and ride the attraction! Experience the thrills for yourself onboard TRON Lightcycle / Run!
