A New TRON Penny Machine Has Landed At The Tomorrowland Launch Depot
I think one of the most underrated Walt Disney World souvenirs is a collectible pressed penny. We are now going on four decades of the pressed penny machines being available in Disney Parks, and there is still no sign that Disney is planning on slowing down.
While people may not carry change in their pocket like they used to, pressed pennies remain a popular, and relatively inexpensive, Walt Disney World souvenir.
New TRON Pressed Penny Machine
Well, if you are Disney pressed penny collector I have great news! A new TRON-themed pressed penny machine has been added to the Tomorrowland Launch Depot, and it features all kinds of great TRON designs!
These new TRON pressed pennies showcase various avatars competing on the Grid.
In addition to Lightcycle pennies, there are coins that feature avatars holding their identity discs and even a Hidden Mickey penny!
My personal favorite is the penny that reads “TRON — Enter the Grid” with a posing avatar.
I love the Enter the Grid penny!
Unlike the pressed penny machine back in my day, you don’t even need to have a coin to get these fun TRON designs. The machine provides the penny for you!
