Pixar’s First Animated Series ‘Win or Lose’ Will Debut In December

When Bob Iger announced that Disney would be slowing down the rate at which the company releases new content, fans of all stripes were concerned that their favorite shows were being pushed back.

While we have seen delays in the release of certain Marvel movies, and have an uncertain schedule for Skeleton Crew, one show that will premiere relatively on time is Pixar’s Win or Lose.

Pixar’s First Animated Series

For those who don’t know, Win or Lose will be Pixar’s first ever animated series. The show will follow the story of a co-ed middle school softball team in the week leading up to their championship game.

Each 20-minute episode will feature the same events as seen from the perspective of different members of the team.

Seeing how Pixar’s storytelling will translate to an animated series, combined with an interesting premise, have set expectations for the show high.

When Will Win or Lose Be Released?

While Win or Lose was initially slated for a November 2023 release, we now know that the show will be delayed.

Luckily however the delay is a small one, as Win or Lose will premiere on Disney+ in December 2023. I for one, can’t wait.
