Enjoy Three Dole Whips at Once at Disney Springs!
Listen, if you haven’t been to Swirls on the Water yet, you’re missing out!
Dole Whip fans from far and wide will always attest that this Disney Springs spot is one of the best places to get yourself one of those iconic frozen treats and, with the most incredible array of flavors and concoctions available on the menu, you’ll never be spoiled for choice.
On our most recent visit to the Springs, our MickeyBlogger Ed “sprung” at the chance to order a menu offering available at Swirls on the Water, and we knew we had to show you what he got.
Behold: the latest Dole Whip Sampler!
Erm, I’m sorry. Is that three Dole Whips? In one serving?
Count us in!
This absolutely stunning offering allows guests to sample three smaller portions of Dole Whip goodness, each with its own unique flavor and flair.
It’s kind of like a beer flight, if all the beers were sweet, fruity, and frozen. Or like a round of delicious summer cocktails, snazzy and full of vacation spirit. Whichever way you describe it, the idea is the same: three delicious Dole Whips to enjoy at once!
Of course, we dived straight into this Dole Whip Sampler with our taste buds and intrigue levels tingling. We’ll explain each one at a time, and let you know what Ed thought overall! Let’s go!
We’ll start with the classic – the Dole Whip Pineapple and Vanilla Soft-Serve, which was finished with a thick wedge of fresh pineapple.
You know the score here, this dessert is an absolute classic treat at Disney Parks, and Swirls on the Water do it perfectly. Sweet, refreshing, and bursting with pineapple… we could eat this stuff all day!
The second pot in the flight was full of Dole Whip Watermelon, swirled up nicely with Dole Whip Lime. This one is seasoned with a tangy pink sugar-salt, and looks like candy with those gorgeous pink and green stripes!
Ed said this one was delicious, making a nice twist on a classic Dole Whip yet with flavors you can instantly recognize as their signature, fruity style. We’d definitely have this one again!
The last flavor in the frozen flight was a bit of a strange one. Bright orange in color, this consists of Dole Whip Lime and Habanero, sprinkled with a Chili-Lime seasoning, and a lime wedge. Unique, unusual, but we gave it a go!
Now, I’ll quote Ed directly here, in saying that “Dole Whip should not be spicy.” The chili in this one gives the throat a bit of a tickle, thus taking away the classic refreshing element one would usually expect in a Doel Whip. We appreciate the unique twist to this third flavor, but definitely think it’s a relief that the other two are served alongside it as refreshers!
If you’d like to try this sampler, we’d recommend you head on down to Swirls on the Water, where the tray costs $7.49. It’s a great option to share on a hot day, and certainly something we’d recommend!
Over the months, our MickeyBloggers have tried all kinds of fabulous Dole Whip treats from this awesome Disney Springs stand. Their Dole Whip Nachos are always something of a masterpiece to behold, and the various floats are sweet, refreshing and juicy, too!
