On the talk show, Fisher revealed that he found out about his unexpected diagnosis while his wife was four or five months pregnant with the couple’s first child.
The couple welcomed their new baby daughter, Riley, in June of 2022. After getting the help he needed, Fisher is now comfortable talking about his eating disorder diagnosis.
The former Disney Channel star explained, “I just knew that I had reflux and like all of these things that were making it difficult for me to eat and didn’t realize that there were all of these traumas from my childhood that I needed to work through in therapy.”
Fisher continued to say, “My last couple of months of my contract were very, very difficult physical times for me.” He added that he lost 30 pounds.

In the interview, Fisher tells Barrymore that he has made it through this difficult time a much stronger person. It’s safe to say that we here at MickeyBlog are so glad to hear it!

Currently, the singer, actor, and artist is slated to star in the musical Sweeny Todd on Broadway.
Also, Fisher gave his voice for the Walt Disney fireworks show soundtrack, Happily Ever After, which returned to the park earlier this month.
Ultimately, we wish Jordan Fisher continued joy, healing, and happiness with his lovely wife and new baby daughter.
