Today’s Weather Forecast
This morning is starting off cool at 69° and steady rainfall. This is definitely a day to bring those rain ponchos and umbrellas to the park.
The area is expecting thunderstorms from 10 AM to 1 PM with cloudy conditions, expected up until 1 PM. However, the temperature is great and perfectly mild ranging from 63° to 79°.

The rainy conditions and gray skies have definitely had an impact on park attendance today. It may also impact some of your favorite attractions.
Thunder Mountain is currently closed due to the rain.
And here is a great photo of the construction progress happening on Splash Mountain. No work being done at the moment.
The biggest impact we see when visiting the parks on a rainy day? No crowds!
Frontierland has so many great offerings, and this area is typically crowded with excited guests. Definitely busier than what we are seeing today.
If you are visiting the parks today, don’t let a rainy day dampen your spirits. There are still plenty of great ways to enjoy your Disney vacation.
And the good news? The rain storms typically pass quickly in central Florida.
