BREAKING: Magic Kingdom’s Entrance Decor Has Been UPDATED
Move over, 50th anniversary — it’s time for The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary!

While 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of the opening of Disney World, 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of The Walt Disney Company, and Disney has been celebrating with new decor, merchandise, and more. And now another Disney World landmark has received a change!
Magic Kingdom Entrance
For the past 18+ months, the entrance to Magic Kingdom has looked like this, with a large 50th medallion along with “the world’s most magic celebration.”

But as of April 12th, this is the NEW look for Magic Kingdom!
New 100th Decor
The new Disney100 decoration is located beneath the Main Street Train Station just outside the entrance of Magic Kingdom, where many guests take advantage of the pretty photo opportunity.

It’s definitely a more minimalist look compared to the 50th decoration, with a simple 100 placed atop a base, with the Disney100 logo printed very small and off to the side.

It has that platinum/silver look we’ve seen on other Disney100 decorations, but it’s kind of hard to tell on this cloudy day.
