Even though the marathon weekend is not until January 2024, details are coming out and registration is about to open.
If you want to participate in the 2024 special event you can register today (April 11th) at 10am.
The Details

The marathon weekend runs from January 3rd- January 7th and includes a 5K, 10K, the Walt Disney World Half-Marathon and the Walt Disney World Marathon.
This year’s exciting event includes two new challenges: Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge (the half marathon and the marathon) and the Dopey Challenge (competing and finishing all races).

Did you participate in the 2023 Marathon weekend? This past year’s theme was retro-inspired and celebrated the event’s 30th anniversary.
April’s runDisney event is getting ready to celebrate the season with the Springtime Surprise Weekend.
Next year’s event will be just as fun and runDisney has announced the themes for each of the races.
Pluto represents the 5K, Chip ’N Dale represent the 10K, Donald and Daisy represent the half marathon and Mickey and Minnie represent the marathon.
