Gaston’s Tavern Fountain Back to Flowing Again at Magic Kingdom
Fantasyland is getting some special attention at Magic Kingdom, post Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Today, we noticed that the fountain at Gaston’s Tavern is flowing again!

As I often say, it’s the little things! Upon their trip, Guests enjoy seeing various aspects of the Parks continue on as intended.

It can be disappointing for first-timers to visit with elements missing or under refurbishment. For example, the moat around Cinderella Castle was recently drained to remove the 50th Anniversary decor.
Although necessary, the Castle without its water feature is just not the same. That being said, one must expect these kinds of refurbishments within any Disney Park.

With elements in continual use and constant visitation from Guests, it’s inevitable. Last month, the fountain at Gaston’s Tavern was drained, with the interior looking a little worse for wear.

The Beauty and the Beast-themed dining location serves up fan-favorite snacks like warm cinnamon rolls. You can also find refreshing beverages such as LeFou’s Brew, a signature non-alcoholic drink, here.
Today, we noticed that the fountain is back in action, and it’s looking better than ever. Let’s take a closer look!

Don’t you just love the peaceful sound of water flowing?!
It’s lovely, especially when paired with the magical music in the background.
This comical statue is a “Tribute to Gaston.” The Disney Villain is standing on LeFou’s poor shoulders.
As you can see, when the water is flowing, it runs through Gaston’s barrel, and into LeFou’s stein.
We’re glad to see it back in action!
If you’re at Magic Kingdom, stop by the fountain at Gaston’s Tavern and enjoy the soothing sounds!
