WATCH: The First Muppet Mayhem Trailer Has Finally Dropped!
After months of waiting, we finally have a release date for the upcoming Disney + series Muppet Mayhem.
In case you haven’t heard, the show will follow the Muppet’s house band, Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem, as they attempt to record their first ever studio album.

The upcoming show was created by Adam F. Goldberg, Bill Baretta, and Jeff Yorkes. Shifting the focus away from Muppet mainstays like Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Gonzo, the show will instead give other characters a time to shine.
A Culture Clash
After 45 years together, The Electric Mayhem finally decide to record an album. Unfortunately the groovy group may be out of place in today’s music scene. According to series creator Jeff Yorkes, there is humor in the culture clash that The Electric Mayhem experience.

“They’re definitely from a different era. The conceit of the show is bringing this old-school band to the modern age and way of making music. That’s the comedy of it,” he said.
The show is expected to feature covers of classic rock songs, as well as new original music by the band.

In addition to its Muppet stars, Muppet Mayhem will feature Lully Singh as an aspiring record producer, Saara Chaudry as her social media influence sister Hannah, and Tahj Mowry as Electric Mayhem superfan Gary.
When Will The Show Debut?
Alongside today’s teaser trailer, Disney announced that Muppet Mayhem will hit Disney + on May 10. That means we only have little over a month to wait!
