New Coconut and Toffee Blondie Sweetens Up Disney’s Hollywood Studios
There’s a new dessert over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, bringing a cute, nutty, sweetness to the shadows of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Want to come check it out with us? Well, keep reading!
Today, our MickeyBloggers are over on Sunset Boulevard, where the new menu item has marked Fairfax Fare as our snack destination of choice for our visit. This cute window-serve kiosk is a breezy stop for barbecue lunch and sweet desserts, but we know exactly what it is we’re going to be ordering today…
Here we have it, the Toffee & Coconut Blondie! Not a cookie, not a brownie, but a tasty combination of two of our favorite flavors.
This gorgeous new dessert mixes gooey toffee with toasted coconut, and there’s a swirl of salted caramel buttercream sat on top for extra sweetness. Yum!
It was our MickeyBlogger Kayla who tried this out for us today and she reported back that it was a tasty option that is worth recommending! The coconut flavor shines through nicely with a subtle hint of toffee to sweeten the deal. The blondie is also stuffed with chocolate chips, although Kayla did pose the insightful suggestion that chunks of toffee might have worked a little better to boost the dessert!
Really, we’d say this treat is most similar to a sugar cookie in the way of flavor and texture – but that isn’t a bad thing at all! The only downside in Kayla’s eyes was that swirl of buttercream on top – she told us it was like biting through an electric currant of pure sugar. Oh well, at least it provides a buzz for the rest of the park day!
If you’re hoping to try this new treat, be sure to get yourself over to Fairfax Fare at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It costs $4.49 on the menu, and is a perfect size for sharing!
However, if you’d prefer something a bit more tried-and-tested, we would also highly recommend the now-iconic Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num-Nums, which is also available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, instead!
