There’s Some Mischievous Macarons at Disney Springs – Featuring Chip and Dale!
Do you like your desserts extra nutty? Do you think the best macarons are served with a side of mischief? Do you agree that the best place to celebrate a Disney Springtime is at Disney Springs?
If you’ve answered “yes” to all of the above, you’re in the right place. Our MickeyBloggers have just discovered the sweetest new sweet over at one of our favorite Disney Springs bakeries, and we’d love to show you what we found!
We’re over at Amorette’s Patisserie today, located in the Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs.
This gorgeous patisserie is always an expert destination when it comes to carefully-crafted sweets and treats, with desserts that look always as special and unique as they taste.
The muses for this particular springtime delight at Amorette’s is our favorite playful duo – Chip and Dale! The adorable chipmunks have been recreated in the cutest macaron form, and we can’t get over how gorgeous their cheeky faces look on this amazing dessert.
It really is irresistible!
Our fabulous MickeyBlog reporter had to order one of these treats to try, and we’re so glad she did.
Just look at these gorgeous photos of the macaron in the Orlando springtime sunshine – doesn’t it look perfect?
What we have here is a vanilla macaron shell, which features Chip’s face on one side, and Dale’s on the other.
I like to tell these two apart by their noses – Chip’s is black, just like a chocolate chip!
Sandwiched within the macaron is a thick layer of chocolate chip cookie dough, and oozy dark chocolate ganache. Then, for extra crunch, the sides of the macaron have been rolled in tiny chocolate crispy sprinkles.
Dreamy!
I absolutely adore the little chocolate acorn detail on the serving too as, even though the macaron isn’t nut flavored itself, you can’t have a chipmunk-inspired treat without acknowledging their own favorite snacks!
Dale’s little red nose also makes a gorgeous detail too. We almost don’t have the heart to take a bite!
After trying this dessert, Jessie got back to us and said that the combination of ganache and cookie dough made the treat very chocolatey, especially against the sweet vanilla flavor base of the macaron.
So, if you’ve got a sweet tooth then we’re sure you’d really appreciate the taste of this cute macaron the most!
In any case, it sure is an adorable treat to look at that’s sure to put a smile on your face, and highly Instagrammable too, if you will!
If you’re looking to head down to Amorette’s to grab one of these for yourself, it costs $6 for one macaron. But remember, Chip is printed on one side, and Dale on the other!
So, you could say it’s kind of a two-in-one deal… right?
