Watch as Original TRON Actors Experience the Grid 40 Years Later!
The TRON franchise began with a movie released in 1982. As part of Disney World’s celebration of TRON Lightcycle / Run, the original actors returned to the Grid 40 years later!
TRON Actors
Bruce Boxleitner plays Alan Bradley in both TRON and its sequel TRON: Legacy. Cindy Morgan plays Lora Baines in the original film.
To recap, Alan is an ENCOM computer programmer. He wrote TRON as a security program to guard the Master Control Program.
The MCP was artificially intelligent, and set on taking over the world! Bruce also lent his voice to the animated series TRON: Uprising!
Cindy’s character Lora was a computer scientist at ENCOM. Her program Yori specialized in game simulations.
She assisted Kevin Flynn in breaking into ENCOM’s computer mainframe. Taking the form of the Program Yori, she helped TRON and Flynn destroy the MCP.
40 Years Later
The two recently came together for the first time since their pairing in the original movie. They were reunited at TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom Park!
"What a ride!"

Bruce couldn’t wait to hop onboard a Lightcycle and experience the ride firsthand. He shared a video of his epic excursion on Twitter!
Disney Parks Blog caught up with Bruce and Cindy to reminisce about the original movie. They shared how their imaginations played a pivotal role in filming scenes.
Digital details were added later on, causing them to film in predominately plain environments. It’s so exciting to see these stars still passionate about the iconic franchise!
TRON Lightcycle / Run
What an epic way to kick off the celebration of TRON Lightcycle / Run’s debut. Although it’s currently in the midst of a soft opening, the ride officially premieres on April 4!
We can’t wait for you to join Bruce and Cindy in entering the Grid next month!
