Mickey & Friends Celebrate St Patrick’s Day in Ireland
Are you enjoying St Patrick’s Day weekend? Doing anything nice to celebrate?
Here at MickeyBlog, we’ve been having an awesome time enjoying all the festivities around Walt Disney World, including the tasty treats, photo fun, merry merchandise offerings, and more.
However, we think it’s Mickey Mouse himself who’s having the best time this weekend, as he’s currently on vacation in Ireland!

Yep, what better place to celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland, than in the Emerald Isle itself?
In new photos shared by Disney, we can see Mickey Mouse and his friends enjoying being honored as part of the iconic St Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, and they look like they’re having a brilliant time!

As you can see from these amazing photos, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy may be enjoying a couple’s mini-break in Dublin, but they’re bound to find a cavalcade to join wherever they go!
Seated in cool cars, the gang are waving happily at crowds as they cruise along with the parade, as part of the city’s iconic St Patrick’s Day celebrations. It looks like a fantastic atmosphere, and we wish we could have been there to join them!

Something quite significant about these photos is that you’ll notice the gang aren’t sporting any sort of green apparel or accessories in commemoration of the holiday, despite the crowds looking like a sea of shamrocks surrounding them.
Instead, Mickey and his pals have decided to don their stellar Disney100 anniversary outfits, therefore bringing double the celebrations to the party!

Inspired by the “Platinum” anniversary, these gorgeous outfits are everything silver, sparkly, and sensational. Mickey has a black bow tie on and they’re wearing enough rhinestones and firework motifs to light up Cinderella Castle, all elevated by accessories in the most beautifully rich shade of purple.
Around the cars, attending parade Cast Members can also be seen sporting the fan-favorite designs of mouse ear headbands. You can check these out in closer detail here!

It’s so lovely to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy out celebrating St Patrick’s Day on vacation in Ireland, and we’re sure the crowds in Dublin loved seeing them in their anniversary outfits.
We wonder whether the gang have any more trips planned for the rest of the 100th anniversary year? We’ll certainly be staying tuned to find out!
