Fat Tuesday at Disney’s Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort
If you want to celebrate Mardi Gras in Disney World, the best place to visit is Disney’s Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort!
Hotel Manager Javier is celebrating at French Quarter for the first time this year, but he previously went to college in Louisiana and celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

According to Javier, it can take quite a while to prepare for the Mardi Gras celebration at Port Orleans, which includes the 10-year tradition of the Cast Member golf cart parade. According to Javier, “The Cast Members here really take the Mardi Gras parade and make it their own.”
This year, the theme for the parade was “The Legacy of Walt Disney World Resorts.”

In addition to the parade, guests will also be able to travel “down the bayou” on a specially decorated Sassagoula River Boat, from Riverside to French Quarter!
