Drone Spectacular “Avengers: Power the Night” Continues to Captivate Guests
For just under two weeks, the most spectacular new night-time show has been captivating audiences at the Disneyland Paris Resort.
Avengers: Power the Night is a never-before-seen, record-breaking epic, lighting up the night at the Walt Disney Studios Park, with special effects unlike anything else!

For Marvel fans, this show has been second-to-none but, unfortunately, we can’t all hop on over to Disneyland Paris to check it out in person So, to make sure you don’t miss any news, we’ve gathered some key information and fun facts about the exclusive show to share with you all.

Avengers: Power the Night
Avengers: Power the Night premiered to guests on January 28th, and is performed nightly at the Walt Disney Studios Park.
With the iconic Twilight Zone Tower of Terror acting as the base for the projections, guests have been excitedly gathering in the park to witness this unmissable spectacular, which will only be performed for a limited time up until May 8th 2023.
The brand-new Marvel drone show, “Avengers: Power the Night”, is premiering this evening!

A Spectacle Like Never Before
When we say that Avengers: Power the Night is nothing like we’ve ever seen before in a Disney Park… we mean it!
The first ever Marvel drone spectacular is also the first daily Marvel nighttime show in the park, and the Imagineers really have pulled out all the stops when it comes to thrilling guests. The show features epic special effects including light, sound, lasers, fireworks, and projections, as well as up to 500 drones.
Yep, you read that right – five hundred!

All Your Favorite Characters
All our favorite heroes are featured in Avengers: Power the Night, so no fan is going to be left behind here!
Avengers including Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange, Captain Marvel, Thor, Black Panther, and more are all featured, with Groot and Rocket helping out to provide the beats! Better yet, Shang Chi has also made his Disneyland Paris debut especially in this show, too!
It’s exciting, emotional, and epic for all. The sound of cheering for your favorite hero along with hundreds of other guests is definitely a memory to cherish, so the atmosphere each night is absolutely electrifying!

Part of the 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Disneyland Paris has been celebrating its 30th anniversary throughout 2022 and, although the festivities will be drawing to a close on September 30th, 2023, there are still so many more treats in-store for guests.
This extra-special Marvel drone show is just one of the “Grand Finale” specials, with further experiences such as the return of firework spectacular Disney Dreams in April, and a brand new Pixar show in summer also set for guests.
This extra-special anniversary sure has been a spectacular one, and we’re so thrilled to see that our favorite superheroes didn’t miss any of the fun!

Thoughts and Reviews
The show has been performed nightly for guests for two weeks now and, from what we’re hearing, the reviews have been fantastic. While drones have been used in nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Paris for a while now, the way they’re used in Avengers: Power the Night is really captivating, with even the show photos making our jaws drop!
While we don’t’ want to spoil anything, we will say that some moments of the show will tug on heartstrings, while others will inspire and empower like never before. After all, the Avengers mean so much to so many, so to see them brought to life in such a breath-taking and visionary way is an experience to behold.

Amazing Facts
Since the show has debuted, Disney have shared some amazing facts about the spectacle that you absolutely can’t miss!
- The drone aspects of the performance have been developed as part of an ongoing partnership between Disneyland Paris and Dronisos, the European leader in drone shows, based in Bordeaux.
- The whole show is sound tracked by some of the most recognizable Marvel scores, re-orchestrated with a symphony orchestra of over seventy musicians, all at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.
That’s a lot of drones!

- This show was produced in the record time of just three months! In an interview with producer Ben Spalding, he put this incredible effort down to the extraordinary talents already within the team, calling them “passionate people who know everything about the park, the product, the visitors, and their expectations.”
- In another interview with video and show control designer Martin Clerel, he explained that, for the show’s premiere, the creators watched from the middle of the audience in Production Courtyard – the area right in front of the Tower of Terror. He said it was a “truly magical” experience, one he’ll “never forget.” We can’t imagine!

A Top Destination for Marvel Fans
This Avengers nighttime show is just one of a series of reasons why the Disneyland Paris resort has affirmed itself a top destination for Marvel fans in recent years.
Back in the summer of 2021, Disney’s Hotel New York reopened as The Art of Marvel, offering guests the chance to stay (or, should we say, “assemble”) in a reimaged hotel, full of phenomenal Marvel artwork and inspirations.
Then, just last summer in July 2022, the Avengers Campus opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park, including two new rides. With Avengers: Power the Night happening in that very same park, it’s hard to imagine a better place to live out your superhero fantasies and aspirations!

While there is so much to be looking forward to at Disneyland Paris for the 30th anniversary and beyond, we can’t say what the future has in store for Avengers: Power the Night. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that the show will return, and will look forward to enjoying all the other exclusive Avengers experiences around Disneyland Paris.
