Believe it or not, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is already in its final 2 weeks!
With the end of the festival also comes the finale of Disney on Broadway Concert Series.

Ashely Brown and Michael James Scott took the America Garden Theater stage last night for their 2023 debut show…and the crowd was absolutely wild for the duo!
Michael James Scott is currently playing the Genie in Aladdin on Broadway. He’s taking a 2-week hiatus to perform at Epcot during Festival of the Arts! Michael hooked the audience when he sang the gorgeous ‘Go the Distance’ from Hercules….
He absolutely WON the audience when he performed a high-energy rendition of ‘Friend Like Me’ from Aladdin!
Ashley Brown originated the role of Mary Poppins on Broadway, and starred as Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. In celebration of originating Mary Poppins, Ashley brought the house down with her vocally flawless performance of ‘Supercalifragilistic”.
Ashley even performed the original Broadway choreography during the number! Several fans in attendance knew the choreography, and Ashley invited them to stand and perform it with her, making for a very memorable and interactive moment.
Ashley and Michael finished the show with a soaring version of ‘A Whole New World’. The arrangement allowed each of the two performers to show off their voices one final time before taking their bows.
This was one of our favorite Disney on Broadway concerts we’ve seen, so be sure to head to Epcot to catch Ashley and Michael before they head back to New York!
