Traditional Housekeeping Returns to all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels This Month
Your next Walt Disney World vacation just became even more enjoyable and relaxing as it has just been confirmed that traditional housekeeping – or Mousekeeping as I like to call it – will return to all Resort Hotels by the end of this month!
Once this service returns, it will be offered either daily or every other day depending on the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you are staying at. The full-service housekeeping will include everything from replenishing towels and amenities to cleaning bathrooms, making the beds, emptying trash, tidying up the room, and vacuuming.

Nothing is more magical than returning to your room after a long day at the Parks and seeing your new Mickey Ears displayed in a playful way. And, don’t forget the famous towel animals creative Cast Members are able to bring to life.
“They go out of their way to make us smile when we return to our room after a busy theme park day,” said Amy A., a planDisney panelist. “Setting up my son’s stuffed animal with funny sunglasses, tidying up my hair appliance cords, or creating a hidden Mickey in a supply restock — they connect with us and show they care for us, even when we don’t see them.”

All of this magic wouldn’t be possible without those Cast Members working hard behind the scenes to bring this magic to life.
“I love making those special little touches — that’s what it’s about,” said Duckky, a housekeeping cast member at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. “If I can make somebody smile every day just by walking past and saying ‘have a magical day,’ that warms my heart. Everything I do here warms my heart.”
