First Look at the Newly Reimagined Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Earlier this year, we reported how Walt Disney World would be doing away with the Pirate Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Today, we have our first look at these reimagined rooms and they are amazing!

The rooms formerly known as “Pirate Rooms” at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort are located in the Trinidad section of the Resort. The reimagined rooms feature unique touches inspired by the iconic Disney movie, The Little Mermaid.
The rooms feature an overall light and airy color palette to make you feel you are “Under the Sea!”

Cast Members, shown in these photos, were the first ones who received a sneak peek at the reimagined rooms and they seem to love them as much as I do!
Other than The Little Mermaid touches, another exciting change with these reimagined rooms is the addition of a fifth sleeper so these now sleep up to five Guests. They are also now equipped with two queen beds. Previously, the Pirate Rooms slept just four Guests and offered two double beds.

It’s important to reiterate that the only rooms that have been updated to a The Little Mermaid theme at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort are going to be the Pirate Rooms in the Trinidad section of the Resort. Disney has not commented at this time if/when other rooms of the Resort will also be updated.
Another interesting point is that Disney has not yet updated their room listing page for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to show these as a new category of rooms. Which means, at this time, you would not be guaranteed you would be booking one until the site shows it as a category option.

If you are looking to guarantee a stay in a The Little Mermaid themed room, don’t forget there is always The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort which are always a hit with Guests of all ages! (At least until the make these a guaranteed room booking category for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!)
