Motion Sickness Guide for Riding TRON Lightcycle / Run in Disney World
Magic Kingdom is getting a NEW thrill ride — TRON Lightcycle / Run!
A lot of readers have been asking us how TRON compares to another new Disney ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which spins 360 degrees while in motion and has been known to cause some motion sickness issues for some guests.
TRON doesn’t rotate, but how does it compare and does it cause motion sickness? Let’s get into it!
Should You Be Worried About Motion Sickness?
MickeyBlogger Jared has experienced motion sickness from time to time, and he said that TRON was “extremely smooth.” He noted that he can get bad dizziness from some rides but TRON didn’t bother him at all!
He said that based on his experience, people may be more likely to experience motion sickness from riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT. TRON doesn’t involve the same twists and turns that the spinning ride vehicle in Cosmic Rewind does.
So basically, as long as you’re comfortable riding a typical roller coaster, you may be safe to ride TRON without experiencing motion sickness. Just keep your individual needs in mind!
