Character Dining at Aulani
There is a Character Dining experience for guests staying at Aulani. You can start your morning with Aunty and the gang for breakfast at Makahiki Restaurant. Makahiki is open for breakfast every day from 7 am to 11 am. Reservations are highly recommended.
This casual, family-friendly restaurant is named for the Makahiki season, the traditional Hawaiian harvest celebration. During the meal, there’s an island-inspired, ukulele performance by Aunty, and visits from much-loved Disney characters who will drop by for photos, autographs, fun interactions, and maybe a few special surprises.
Meet Disney Characters at Aunty’s Beach House
Kids ages 5-12 can play at Aunty’s Beach House. While learning about Hawaiian culture, playing games, listening to stories, crafting, creating, and having fun, their favorite Disney pals may stop by.
For an additional fee, young guests can experience Kakamora Chaos with Moana or SURF’S UP!- A Surfin’, Fishin’, and Dancin’ Party with Mickey, Goofy, and the gang. Guests are encouraged to book these experiences in advance by calling the Reservation Center at (808) 674-6943.
