Disney World Airport Transfer Service Sunshine Flyer is Celebrating First Anniversary
Happy birthday Sunshine Flyer! One of the most popular sources of transportation between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Walt Disney World Resort hotels has officially been up and running for a year.

The Sunshine Flyer officially started operations on February 1, 2022 and has been one of the preferred ways for Disney guests to get to and from the airport since Disney stopped running Magical Express after the pandemic.

“As our team reflects back on our first year in operations, we are delighted and grateful to those guests who trusted us as their transportation partner,” said Vice President of the Sunshine Flyer Tony Glibkowski. “As we head into our second year of operations, we maintain our commitment to improve our service to continually better serve our guests.”
And what a year it’s been! Over the past twelve months, the company has streamlined its service, expanded its fleet and now as a counter at the airport.
The Sunshine Flyer has also recently announced that they have launched a Sunshine Flyer Direct service. This offers direct, private transportation from MCO to Walt Disney World resorts.

The company also announced earlier today that 50% of its sales in the first 50 days of operations went to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida. The donations totaled $279,200. This meant that 30 wishes could be granted to children with critical illnesses.
