SPOILERS: Find All the Characters in EPCOT’s FREE Festival of the Arts Scavenger Hunt
The 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Arts is in full swing, and there’s much more to do than just eat!
You can shop for special event merchandise, check out art and entertainment, and even pay $9.99 for a Figment scavenger hunt with a prize. But if you’re looking for something fun and free to do during the festival, you don’t want to miss this!
Chalk Full of Character
Chalk Full of Character is a Festival of the Arts scavenger hunt that tasks guests with finding chalk drawings of characters all around EPCOT. It’s free and there’s no prize to be won, but it’s a fun way to pass the time as you make your way around EPCOT!
If you’re struggling to find a character or want to know which characters are part of the hunt, we have ✨SPOILERS✨ below! Note that we are still in the park looking for characters, so this list may change in the future.
U.K. Pavilion
In the U.K. Pavilion, you can find Peter Pan’s shadow near a window on the second floor of a building.
Nearby, you can also find characters from Robin Hood, including Robin Hood himself, Little John, and Skippy.
Not far from the stage area are Merlin and Arthur from Sword of the Stone — as squirrels!
If you look closely, you may even see a special guest squirrel.
A few steps away from the squirrels is the Broomdog from Alice in Wonderland.
France Pavilion
In the France Pavilion, Lumiere can be found near the Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long.
If you look up near La Petite Rue, you can find the three Aristocat kittens — Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie!
And over by Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, we spotted Remy and Emile from Ratatouille.
Germany Pavilion
Over in the Germany Pavilion, Rapunzel’s best pal Pascal from Tangled can be seen in a few different spots, including here with a snack…
…over here with a paintbrush…
…and camouflaged in the word “clocks.”
And don’t forget to look up to see Spike the Bee near a flower planter.
Norway Pavilion
You can find Snowgies from Frozen Fever and Frozen 2 in the Norway Pavilion…
…as well as Bruni, the elemental spirit of fire, from Frozen 2.
Canada Pavilion
Bao from the Pixar short film can be found hanging out in the Canada Pavilion.
And eagle eyes can find Koda from Brother Bear over by the water.
Mexico Pavilion
Stop by the Mexico Pavilion to see both versions of Dante from Coco, including his original form…
…and his colorful spirit guide form.
China Pavilion
The China Pavilion is home to two Mulan characters, including Little Brother the dog…
…and Mushu, Mulan’s guardian.
American Adventure Pavilion
You might not recognize this character in the American Adventure Pavilion! This is Amos the Mouse from the Disney animated short, Ben and Me, which was released in 1953. This short told the story of the mouse Amos and his contributions to the career of Benjamin Franklin, including some help with inventions. (A key and a kite, you see it right?)
Japan Pavilion
In the Japan Pavilion, you can find Duffy the Bear and Gelatoni the Cat. According to his backstory, Duffy spilled gelato in Tokyo DisneySea’s Mediterranean Harbor, and Gelatoni used his tail to paint with the spill.
And you might recognize this character as the Sushi Chef from Harryhausen’s in Monsters, Inc.
Morocco Pavilion
Abu from Aladdin can be seen causing trouble in the Morocco Pavilion.
Italy Pavilion
Luca and Alberta from Luca are having fun in the Italy Pavilion, along with Machiavelli the cat sitting nearby.
And we can’t forget Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio!
Land Pavilion
In the Land Pavilion, you can find one of Disney’s newest characters — Splat, from Strange World.
Outside Connections Cafe
Just outside Connections Cafe as you’re walking toward Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you can spot Groot hanging out near a bush!
Mission: SPACE
By Mission: SPACE, you can find three different characters, including WALL-E and EVE from WALL-E…
…and M-O!
Jumping Fountain
At the jumping fountain in the Imagination Pavilion, we initially spotted Sorcerer Mickey near an enchanted broom from Fantasia arranged like this.
A few weeks after the opening of the Festival of the Arts, however, this artwork was rearranged, with Mickey moved down and the broom on the other side of the corner.
Stay tuned for more characters as we continue to make our way around EPCOT and the 2023 Festival of the Arts!
