Amazing Roaring Fork Holiday Treats Add a Delicious Taste of Adventure
If the delicious thought of an outdoorsy Christmas is enough to put you in the festive spirit, then Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is surely the place for you. These Roaring Fork holiday treats are so yummy!
Each year the resort decks their log cabin walls with magical decorations inspired by the great American adventure, and the campfire-cozy smell of warming holiday treats is never too far away!
Excited to spend a day enjoying the cozy, nature-inspired festivities, our MickeyBloggers are over at Wilderness Lodge this morning.
We knew that a bunch of new Roaring Fork holiday treats had just arrived on the menu, so we simply had to go check them out!
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog for a while, you’ll know that the fun quick service at Wilderness Lodge is a firm favorite of ours, serving up new and unique treats each season.

It’s a good job our MickeyBlog test-taster Ed brought his sweet tooth, as there were three delicious new treats to be sampled at Roaring Fork today!
We’ll start by checking out this Molasses Crackle Cookie, a self-proclaimed “Wilderness Lodge Tradition.”
There’s really something special about a crinkled, crackled cookie at Christmas isn’t there?
Ed said that the flavor of this cookie was so tasty and festive, it was hard to stop eating it!
We’d definitely recommend you grab one of these on your next holiday trip through Wilderness Lodge. They cost $3.49.
Next on the menu is this gorgeous piece of sugary artwork, entitled “Santa’s Forest,” which costs $7.99.
This beauty consists of peppermint cheesecake atop a chocolate cake base.
A cute, miniature landscape of fondant trees and a toy sack finish the décor, and we love the festive feel this dessert gives off!
While Ed explained that this treat isn’t as flavorsome as the cookie, he agreed that it’s festive and sweet enough to make for a cute, Christmassy option.
It’s also a very Instagrammable dessert, which we’re sure will be appealing to many fans this holiday season!
The third and final treat we had to try was this spectacular Christmas Tree Mousse.
Costing $7.99, the one we were given didn’t quite match the appearance of the menu’s photo. But, we aren’t complaining, as this treat proved just as delicious as the others!
Festive and flavorsome, this dessert consists of a white chocolate and peppermint mousse, paired with chocolate cake and dark chocolate ganache, all sat in a vanilla tart pastry shell.
Delicious!
Ed told us that the pairing of the chocolate and peppermint was a tasty success in this treat, confirming that any three of these new holiday desserts at Roaring Fork are worthwhile orders over at Disney’s Wilderness Resort.
Next time you’re passing through, we’d definitely recommend you select your favorite from the menu, and enjoy a festive treat in front of the spectacular Wilderness Lodge tree. Enjoy!
