VIDEO: New Art Walk Mural at Disney Springs For Native American Heritage Month
If you’ll be at Disney Springs in the weeks ahead then be sure to check out the Disney Springs Art Walk where a brand new piece has been painted. The vibrant addition was created by Nani Chacon who has created a mural inspired by her strong Native American roots.
Nani created the piece for Native American Heritage Month. It tells the story of the relationship between indigenous people and the earth. Her goal was to convey the individuality of indigenous people. you can hear Nani speak about the work in the new video below:
Nani spoke about her mural being included in Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression saying, “It meant a lot to me to be able to paint a piece for Disney Springs Art Walk. The opportunity has allowed me to express myself, be representative of my region and given me the ability to share my ideas in a public format.”
You’ll definitely want to set aside some time to check out all of the incredible pieces at Art Walk. The exhibit features eye-catching pieces by artists from around the world. The Art Walk is located near the Town Center bus loop.
