Pirates of the Caribbean Toothpick Sails into Plaza del Sol
One of my favorite Walt Disney World souvenirs used to be the porcelain figurines that they would sell. In the early 2000s, you could collect your favorite Disney characters and have something to display on your shelf for a reasonable price.
While in recent years these figures have gone away in favor of things like Vinylmations, there are still some other kinds of knick-knacks you can find throughout the resort.
Today, we stumbled upon just such a trinket over at Plaza del Sol in Adventureland!
Located at the exit to Pirates of the Caribbean, Plaza del Sol is the perfect place to find treasure. Well sailing into the shop today is this new skull toothpick holder!
This miniature trinket is the perfect addition to any collection. It features a smiling skeleton, who looks happy despite his condition.
The think that I really love about this toothpick holder is the back. Written in the attraction’s iconic font, the back of holder features the words “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
With the retro font, this cream colored skull really looks like a vintage Disney souvenir. If I came across this outside of the parks I would have believed it was created in the 1970s.
This toothpick holder is a great souvenir to take home, especially if your on budget. Right now, you can pick one up over in Adventureland for only $12.99.
So next time you set sail on Pirates of the Caribbean, be sure to grab one of these toothpick holders as you exit the attraction and continue your adventure at the Magic Kingdom.
