VIDEO: Disney Celebrates 30 Days Until ‘Strange World’ Opening in New Tweet
The countdown is on. The latest feature film from Walt Disney World Animation, Strange World, is opening a month form today (November 23, 2022.)
Disney took to Twitter this morning to share the exciting news. You can check out their tweet and the latest trailer below:

For those unfamiliar, Strange World follows Searcher Clade (Jake Gyllenhaal), the son of a legendary explorer who has left earth for a journey through space. Searcher and his crew including his son Ethan (Jaboukie Young-White) arrive on an usual planet where Searcher is reunited with his father Jaeger (Dennis Quaid.) The three generations must overcome their differences and work together to successfully complete their quest and return to earth.

The project is directed by Don Hall who also directed both Big-Hero 6 and Raya and the Last Dragon. The movie is co-directed and written by Qui Nguyen. It is produced by Roy Conli. Other cast members involved in the project includes Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade, an accomplished pilot and Searcher’s partner in all things; and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal, Avalonia’s fearless leader who spearheads the exploration into the strange world. “
