Disney Announces Guests Visiting the Magic Kingdom Around Christmas Will be Treated to Holiday Fireworks
Normally, the only way to catch a showing of “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” holiday fireworks is to attend a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. However, if you plan on attending the Magic Kingdom during the week of Christmas and hoping to see this nighttime spectacular, you are in luck!
Walt Disney World has just confirmed that the nighttime spectacular, “Disney Enchantment” will be replaced with “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” holiday fireworks every night from December 23 to December 29, 2022.

If you have plans to visit Walt Disney World and the Magic Kingdom in November or December, here is the fireworks schedule for this time period:
- Nights when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is NOT offered, Guests will enjoy “Disney Enchantment” at 8:15 each night until December 21, 2022.
- Nights when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Part is offered, Guests with a ticket to the party will enjoy a showing of “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” holiday fireworks at 10 pm each night of the party through December 22, 2022.
- On nights December 23 to December 29, 2022, all Magic Kingdom Guests will enjoy “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” each night at 8:15 pm

Guests looking to ring in the New Year at Walt Disney World and the Magic Kingdom will be treated to a showing of special New Years Eve fireworks on the evenings of December 30 and 31, 2022.
“Disney Enchantment” will return to the night skies over the Magic Kingdom starting January 1, 2023. However, it will only be for a limited time as it was announced earlier this year that the beloved “Happily Ever After” will return in 2023. Since “Disney Enchantment” has been dubbed Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary show, it’s likely that this show will end around March 31, 2023 when “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” officially wraps up.
“Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” is a new nighttime spectacular that will debut Nov. 8, 2019, as part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The holiday extravaganza invites guests to experience the magic of Christmas by painting the sky with fireworks and transforming Cinderella Castle into colorful holiday scenes.
