Tamatoa Mini Cake Dazzles at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
It’s so shiny! Mickey Bloggers Greg & Elyssa enjoyed a Tamatoa inspired Mini Cake at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today.
It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon to ride the ‘Highway in the Sky’ after Epcot’s 40th Anniversary celebration this morning.
This Tamatoa Mini Cake can be found at both Capt. Cook’s and Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort through October 31st.
The Tamatoa Mini Cake is made with a chocolate chiffon cake, Hawaiian Chantilly filling and topped with shiny gold sprinkles.
The image of Tamatoa and his claws are printed on white chocolate and attached, giving the mini cake a crab like appearance.
Chantilly frosting is a Hawaiian specialty. The creamy filling is made from butter, evaporated milk and sugar, whipped together until smooth.
Additionally, a Pumpkin Soft Serve was also advertised, but due to a delivery delay for the syrup it was unavailable. However, you should be able to get your hands on the Pumpkin Soft Serve starting tomorrow!
Be on the lookout for more spooktacular treats throughout the month of October!
